Composed of fragments of prints cut and reassembled, the works of the series L’Effeuilleuse by Diane Jutras put forward current societal issues such as the imbalance causing the consumer society and the ambiguous relationship between art and the desire for beauty. Through this sensitive theme as well as their fine details resulting from the technique of etching, the works naturally call the interlocutor to come closer to discover the meticulous work of the artist in an atmosphere of intimacy. Several texts and poems will also accompany the exhibition.
